L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Limited Industrial Plant — Nagpur

Comprehensive Architectural Design Consultancy

Spread across approximately 12 acres, with a built-up area of around 4.5 lakh sq. ft., this industrial plant was developed through comprehensive architectural design consultancy, from concept planning to completion.

For an industrial facility of this scale, the challenge lies in bringing together production requirements, movement, supporting functions and infrastructure within a well-coordinated whole. The planning was developed closely around the client’s requirements and the specific needs of each section of the plant.

The main production shed was planned along with RCC and pre-engineered structures, allied buildings and supporting services, ensuring that each component works as part of the larger facility. Careful attention was given to circulation, functional relationships and the efficient use of the available site and built-up area.

Every part of the site was studied in detail — from the existing ground conditions and levels to the relationship between different functions — allowing the planning to make effective use of the available land while maintaining clear and practical movement throughout the facility.

The focus was on creating an industrial environment that works efficiently on a day-to-day basis, with every square meter planned with purpose and every supporting element coordinated with the larger operational requirements.
